Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma visit temple, days after ugly fight with Gambhir

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently paid a visit to the MAHAKALESHWAR TEMPLE in Ujjain. Their arrival follows Virat’s heated altercation with Gautam Gambhir and Naveen-ul-Haq on May 1 during the RCB vs. LSG IPL match at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.

With his wife Anushka, Virat Kohli was seen visiting the shrine to seek blessings. A paparazzo posted a video to his Instagram account, and it quickly went viral. The Indian captain is seen in the video wearing a dhoti and a shawl around his neck, while Anushka is seen donning a powder pink saree.

Videos of the altercation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been widely circulated online. Everyone is eager to find out what they truly said to one another, though. What transpired on the pitch has been revealed by an eyewitness, and the discussion is currently trending on social media.

The confrontation reportedly started when Kyle Mayers approached Virat Kohli and questioned him about why he was always insulting their team, according to the eyewitness who was present in one of the team dugouts.

In response, Kohli reportedly retorted, “Why were you staring at me?” The situation escalated quickly when Gautam Gambhir stepped in and tried to diffuse the tension. “Gautam, sensing that things could turn ugly, pulled Mayers and told him not to have a conversation, when Virat made a comment. The heated exchange that followed seemed a bit juvenile,” the witness shared with PTI.

“Gautam asked, ‘Kya bol raha hain bol’ (What were you saying?) and Virat replied, ‘Maine aapko kuch bola hi naahin, aap kyon ghus rahein ho’ (I haven’t said anything to you, why are you interfering?).

Anushka Sharma is making a comeback with the upcoming film Chakda Xpress after a five-year absence. The film is a biography based on the life of Jhulan Goswami, a former cricketer for India’s women’s team.
