Narendra Modi Stadium to host India vs Pakistan WC game

Cricket fans all across the world are eagerly awaiting the release of the official schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023. The prestigious competition is set to begin on October 5 in India.

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has yet to finalise its calendar, hence the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet made the full schedule of the competition public.

The competition has also been clouded by controversy since Pakistan has declined to visit India because of that country’s refusal to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. However, there have reportedly been a few adjustments to the World Cup schedule.

The tournament’s opening game will pit five-time champions Australia against New Zealand, according to Dainik Jagran. Pakistan will play the most of their matches in Chennai and Hyderabad since they refused to play at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

However, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the eagerly awaited India vs. Pakistan match.

The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai is where India will play in some of its other marquee games, including the one against Australia.

However, they will face off against England in Lucknow, which will host five games throughout the competition.

Two teams are yet to be confirmed, therefore the event’s full schedule is anticipated to be announced in the following weeks.
